Impressive! But Linda Ikeji makes more than twice her total compensation. Assuming Linda only takes 50% of her blogging revenue, she'll will be personally earning $2 million per year. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The subject should have read - The highest paid bank CEO in Nigeria. N117M is nothing compared to what most non-banking sector (esp telcos & IT company) CEO's earn annually. 3 Likes |

Sola David-Borha somehow looks tomboish. She seem to have this tomboy appearance with all the masculine attribute. That boyish haircut of hers just sold her to the boys' world. She is just like that female footballer Chichi Igbo ( pictured) But can we know more about her family line such as husbands, kids etc As for the money that is a plus to her. But there was a time she had her lowest point when her bank ( STANBIC)under her leadership was accused by Central Bank or is it one of the government agencies of fraudulently manupulating some kinds of records and that created some kind of storms. Is it a storm in a teacup?

Who said she is the highest earned CEO in Nigeria ![]() The only great thing about her position is not just the pay, but the opportunities that comes with it....she has access to billions of loans to do secret businesses and return back to the safe without anyone noticing or querrying her....that alone is the key, not her monthly pay, which many Nigerians make before the month ends. You can be like her...by drawing a career path for yourself now and then making sure you secure a job to start gathering the experience. CFCman:I don't think it's impressive that the highest paid CEO in Nigeria makes about 117 million naira annually. If you convert it to dollars then you will understand that she is making chicken change compare to her colleagues abroad. 117m naira is just about 200k dollars. A top medical doctor in San Diego makes more than what the highest paid CEO in Africa largest economy makes makes. Her fellow CEO in wells Fargo or Chase makes 10 times what she makes. Nigeria still have a long way to go in paying salary. Imagine minimum wage is still 18k naira. |

ChangeIsCostant: I have to say i am a little dissapointed at what the highest paid C.E.O in Nigeria makes, there are loads of lower and middle management positions in U.K where you can earn more than that as an I.T contractor, my former direct boss who is an Enterprise architect designer for Lloyds bank earns close to £1000 a day(agreed that's before tax but i am guessing so is the figure allocated to the Stanbic C.E.O too) I work as a contract I.T project manager with barely 5 years experience and if you look up the salary for contractors in this line it ranges from as low as £200 - £800 a day, now consider someone with much more experience especially in a specialist area like SAP you can easily command over a £1000 a day, so for me comparing that to someone who has risen to the level of C.E.O in a top bank in Nigeria i would expect the salary to at least match those of her international counterparts and not to be paid like a regular project manager in u.k who is not even close to being a director talk more C.E.O C.E.O's generally get paid millions of pounds especially bank C.E.O's and if you consider that with the exchange rate, 1 million pounds is over N500,000,000. then you will understand why i am unimpressed that she is the highest paid in Nigeria, for a regular C.E.O its fine but for the highest paid, i think for a country as big as Nigeria it just shows our banks aren't exactly all that when compared with their other international counterparts even though Zenith bank keeps advertising day in and day out on CNN, its obvious not much business goes on in these banks except hustling for depositors funds or Government looted funds. 3 Likes 1 Share |
