Not good though, but it is now I know that with you fuel indicator at empty, I can still drive 40km..

The part about taking in dirty fuel is untrue.
The fuel pump picks fuel through a pipe that is hanging just above the bottom of the tank. The level is referred to as Sunction level, and does not change regardless of fuel level.

You are wrong

Most fuel pump hang from top to bottom of the tank, when fuel is eg above quatar tank all the dirty is widely spread since there will be more fuel but once you go into reserve meaning less fuel and therefore dirty get sucked to one central point i.e the filter

ALL fuel pumps pick fuel from a point close to the bottom of the tank. Else, you'd be out of fuel when you cross the suction level even though you have fuel in your tank.
That's my point and that's true.
