Nigeria is where it is today because people like you think that school is more important than hard core entrepreneurial skills. Passive learning over active learning.

I'm sure you would have praised the little girl if the title read 12 YR OLD GIRL WINS ACCOLADES FOR SONG/FILM/SPORTS. Not minding the hours it takes to read/memorise useless movie scripts, perfect a tuneless song and train your body for gymnastics/sports is way longer than what this girl uses to sell papers.

Don't be an advocate for parenting, sitting behind your keyboard and forming Judge Dredd. This is reality. People find themselves in situations and this girl chose to use it as an empowering tool to learn a lot about how money is made and valued.

Taking this girl off the streets will do more harm than good to her growing, impressionable mind. At least, she knows how cruel humans are. Nobody will help you, help yourself.
