The Federal Government has affirmed the recruitment of 10,000 policemen annually to address the setback in the numerical limit of the Force. The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris clarified that the enrollment was important to reinforce the operational effectiveness of the police to battle wrongdoing in the nation.


He said this amid the month to month IG meeting with senior cops on Wednesday at the Force base camp, Abuja, not long after getting Insps. Amina Wilfred and Rachael Danjuma for winning the nineteenth IBB Ladies Open Amateur Golf Championship.

The IG called for better subsidizing for the police, saying the country expected to address the parlous monetary remaining of the compel for improved operational proficiency.
