That was at 1968, you illiterate. Nigeria was barely a nation then.
Even your aso-rock as at then was nothing to write home about. And he was a just a rebel who had to marshal resources in quick time.
The rest of your pathetic ramblings is just ignorant musings.

1968?? have you see europeans bunkers of 1944 and earlier years ? hitler's bunker ?

ok lets not spend our energy on the bunker.

are you willing to debate my other points ? im free, ready to kick some arses this afternoon.

European bunker? Are you shitting me?
We are talking of a third world Nigeria here.
If your president as at then had an aso-rock that was as shitty as a latrine with regards to European standards, what makes you think a rebel under severe pressure would have the time or the resources to conjure up a Nazi-like bunker?

But look at them today, strongest most important nation in Europe

I like the fact that 80% percent of Nigeria history you know are about the Igbo's and their role in shaping the political history of this nation. We are plying that route again and all also ran like you can do is wait by the side lines as usual and later twist history in the future. Who cares! We are Igbos. We are our own men! We are Republicans! We are non conformist! We chart our path in life! When the time comes the sun must surely rise!

This got me laughing real hard...but didn't Ojukwu envisage that he could win the war otherwise d escape route was unnecessary.By d way he was supposed to be in d war front na

Never say Never. If the soviet world power(the only real legitimate military and economic superpower rival to the United states in history) can disintegrate into smithereens, then there is nothing that cannot happen.
And btw, heaven has nothing to do with your Nigeria. It was conjured up a british soldier.

Nigeria was created by an idol worshiper and the name - Nigeria was given by a prostitute, the Nigeria we see today, we shall see it no more. The Hausa hate the IBOS , yet they want the IBOS to remain with them in same country. Is that not telling us something ?

Very good for tourism...lot of people don't know about this. The worst is reading some comments bashing Ojukwu for running. This is part of Nigeria's history and should well be documented.

‎Wow! This shows how far the Igbo race went in terms of science and technology even as far back as 1967 No wonder Britain and other western powers came together to help Nigeria win Biafra in the war because whiteman don't want to see black Africa race liberated from technological bondage that we have been facing since creation.

Almost all the great technologies we are enjoying in the world today were discovered during world war II and Europe/America developed those war technology to the betterment of the world today, but Nigerian government out of their tribalistic hatred for Igbos refused to develop Biafran ingenuity technologies after the war ended, which would have led to Nigeria becoming the number one black country that have her own indigenous technology, too bad.

Whenever I read about the technological innovations and designs Igbos constructed to win the war during the Nigeria-Biafra civil war, I just remove my cap for the Igbo race; what a blessed race that's being jeopardized by others not to achieve their full potential on earth.

Imagine Biafra constructing a fluid mechanism system with adequate air-condition piping system in 1967

Imagine what Igbos achieved technologically in 1967 and we are in 2017 yet our Nigerian engineers can't even boast of discovering any innovation, shame!!‎

And for those shouting about the escape route, it's a compulsory feature in every bunker design; even the Whitehouse have escape routes where American President/VP could be evacuated to a safe area should any danger befall America, so it's normal.‎

How old are you? Go grab a book and read, this is above your understanding. Dont regurgitate this nonsense you wrote ever again.
codedruns2:
not very impressive bunker to be fair . thought it would hv been a lot more sophisticated.

i sincerely dont understand why Igbo still support Ojukwu who brought war and misery to them.

could have negotiated an end after Enugu was over ran.
negotiated = meaning he could have tabled resolutions that would have been favourable to biafrans lime reinstating worker etc back to their previous posts

remember he would have been negotiating with a meek yakubu who undoubted didnt have the stomach for war.

why even bring the war to your home. why didnt he rather plot a counter coup , of which the war and destruction would have been in lagos .
with the amount of men he had and arms concentrated in the heart of the government. he would have undoubtedly succeed at a coup.

previous and latter successful coups had far fewer men and resouces.

Ojukwu was simply egoistic. wanted the title of an emperor. a fantasy of a new country, his country.

Did you know Ojukwu and his mercenaries had a backup plan to take over Equatoria Guinea when Biafra became a failing project ?
