STUDENTS of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma , Edo State , today staged a protest over the alleged increase in school fees by the management of the institution .

According to an informant:

*UPDATE ON THE PROTEST*

*The dean of students on a talk with the 200l student*

*According to him it is not in the power of the sch to reduce the sch Fees he said 200l should pick Creditable representative who would not compromise*

*He said that test was propone with one week to enable discussion with the 200l stakeholders*

*200l representative who spoke said they are going to protest throughout the week*

*The dean also advice that instead of fighting the school and protesting throughout the week they would wait so they can discuss with the representative between now till Friday so they can achieve a common goal*

*Another student came out and told the school to remove restitution fees right now*

*Another student told the school to the take a look at the security officer cause they are not able to take Good care of the students*

*The DVC prof Jude Agho said the also pay the sch fees for thier student that on Wednesday the should come to a specific venue because the VC is currently not arround*

*He said that this week they will look into the SUG so they can have a common goal*

*He said that the restitution fees was to fix the disaster that happened November 14 2016*

*He said no one should please protest tomorrow and next tomorrow*

*Another student spoke out that SUG election date should be fixed also no Police should be allowed into the school and school fees should be reduced*

*The dean said that election will hold and it will be online so that it can reduce calamity*

*He said that 200l should choose representative so they can dialog with the school*

*The dean choose a student named EHIS who will choose 12 people who would dialog with the sch tomorrow and also as many who want to witness the proceedings can come*
