I've been rooting any phone I had for years. I've been exposed to several threats, yes. Cuz I download alot. However over the years I haven't experienced such after I discovered a software called stubborn Trojan killer. Google or download it. It removed and cleans any suspicious file. It comes with a cloud scan too.. Now lemme tell u how I know it's very strong. There was a phone I had: it started installing pornographic apps and unnecessary apps. I formatted the phone, but the issue persisted. Immediately I discovered and installed the stubborn Trojan killer, it scanned and deleted the file. And my phone was back to normal.

The only reason I will consider rooting is for titanium back up, I pray for the day google will bake that feature into android.. android OS has come a long way, and man gat better things to do these days..It was fun while it lasted.. The MIUI am using even looks like a custom ROM with all those features you get with it.. dual space, clone app..

Titanium backup used to be my number one app but I don't think I've installed it in any of my phones in the past two years. You can easily backup and restore most games through Google play games.
