I am new here, I was at a dating site and was approached by a girl from Cotonou, Benin, I am in the US.

I am falling in love with her after several days of chat on Yahoo IM. I am just not sure if she is for real, she claims that she loves me very much and wants to be with me and is insisting to find a way to get her here and to come and live with me, which I don't mind.

My question is she claims there is always no power supply and internet access is bad and she also claims that she lives at Quartier Missebo, when I did a Google search to see where it is, nothing pops up.

I am just concern if she is for real as I don't live close by, could someone tell me if the place exist and if the power supply is always bad there

Any help or suggestions is appreciated, thank you

Hommie listen up, you are being played ok! simple as that. how is she able to contact you but she keeps giving you all these lame azz excuses?
Very soon she will start telling you about her sick mother in the village or better yet she will tell you that if you really love her you will send her money to buy some cloths or card for her phone. Maga and Mugu = dummy dont be one okay.

Thanks guys, I read a lot about scammers, but I did not want to condemn until proven. Furthermore, I have received quite a few messages from these  'girls' and they almost all sounded the same, except for this one, she sounded truthful, so it was a tough decision. I have received 6 pictures from her, 3 in each

That is why I posted here, coz, you guys know the conditions there better than I do, and that is also why I asked about the area, power supply and internet connections etc.

Well, while it is true that there are many people who pose to be in love only to maganise unsuspecting muguns or mumus, we must also take note that there are people who may truely be in love. Therefore take time to study the so called lover, you never can tell it may be true. However DO NOT send any thing to him or her yet. Take your time and study him or her very well.
