The importance of the up-coming match between hosts Atletico Madrid and F.C. Barcelona in La Liga this weekend cannot be over-stated as a win for either side will bring about major changes not just for their season’s exploits but also to the LaLiga standing.

As it stands presently however, Diego Simeone’s men will be looking to get closer to the top three with a home win as F.C. Seville are currently occupying the third place with a difference of four points between them and the league already heading towards the closing stages.

Atletico Madrid have had a poor season by their own standards and will need to be careful against a dangerous team like Barcelona. They are however unbeaten in their last five matches.They are also going to miss the services of Tiago, Godin, Bernabe, Juanfran and Fernandez who are ruled out of the game with injuries.
