I heard it 2ice Fact is, this is NOT VINTAGE 2face. Another decent street song. Tu baba is miles better than this. Obviously, the competition got to him. |

FADAKA:Kindly educate the "local audience" dude? ? ? ? Its a cool song. Would be a shame if its not his beat. Nigerian artists make me proud, but 2face, he started the competition and took it to levels. I dont think he needs to steal other ´peoples tunes, but lets see. Mr Fadaka oya oh. . .soro |

@Rosabelle, What else do you expect me to say? That each Artist that expect to go on Global stage need to stay on his/her brand. Please don't get me wrong. I like 2Face, I do love is music, 2 Face song make me proud as a nigerian. African Queen remain my alltime best that ever came out of Nigeria.in recent time. Haven't said that, Akon for SENEGAL, Sean Paul for Jamaica, Wyclef for HATIAN, 2FACE yi ti gbogbo wanii, Ilove himdie. But, on this track he need to do more home work next time. so for him to bring that "GRAMMY AWARD" home he need to stay away from other peoples work. @Youngdee, I want to believe you didn't meant to call my Name a fake just because of my OPINION on something? Over to you madam Rosabelle!!!, |

Fadaka @Youngdee, I want to believe you didn't meant to call my Name a fake just because of my OPINION on something? Why dont you try to read your last post before this, you accused Tu baba of using another person beat, it was not an opinion but accusation. Dont try to lie now. |
Re: 2face Idibia – Implication (brand New) by Rosabelle(f): 10:19pm On Dec 13, 2009 |
FADAKA:I dont think I understand a word of what youre saying. youngdee:Thats what I thought oh. It sounded more like an accusation! Im not the biggest 2face idibia fan, but he will go down in history as one who took nigerian music out and to the top. He suceeded in setting a competition and encouraing others, so Im proud of him. But when a guy has worked hard, you commend him . . thats what I think |

I 've seen some people commenting that 2face has to stay locked on his genre of music to win a Grammy. Winning a Grammy is not a bad idea, but I ask myself if that should be the ultimate aspiration of every musician all over the world. My answer is NO! Grammy is prestigious, so also are many other awards around the globe. Just because Americans rate it the highest music award does not mean it IS the highest music award. Lets stop this nonsense about glorifying everything American just because the American media says so. On the music itself, I think 2face did a good job on the track. You may call the sound Techno, Elctric, or Dance Hall (as someone opined), I think it is a welcome radical deviation from the so called Classic 2face music. He has succeeded in pepping his usual repertoire with something foreign to the usual Naija flavour, and I say he is bold for the attempt. And luckily for him, the total effect is awesomely Nigerian despite that "foreign" electro-metallic influence. Even though I had lately come to rate the guy low on my how-to-be-a-role-model score card, I must give him the accolades on this track. Hate him or love him, the guy is a natural music man. |
