Stereotyping Igbos by SonOfEl(m): 12:53pm On Feb 27, 2017
Based on my research interacting with various igbo elders, these are notions ERRONEOUSLY perceived about some of my beloved Igbo clans:

1. Owerri/Mbaise - cunning, clever but selfish

2. Onitsha/Nnewi - rich, negatively proud and greedy

3. Ngwa - cunning, razz, cannibalistic and violent

4. Waawa - sociable, lazy and feeble

5. Arochukwu/aro - Strong, violent and cruel

6. Nsukka/Abakaliki/izzi - razz, primitive but
hardworking
7. Ikwerre/etche - lazy, immoral and prodigal children

8. Ohafia/abiriba - strong, clever but violent

9. Anioma clans - athletic but immoral

10. Idemili - clever but negatively proud

11. Umuahia clans - clever, cunning but lazy

These stereotyping is COMPLETELY FALSE.....Please STOP it.
