Senior US official said Wednesday that many of the steps taken by the United Nations Human Rights Council "that are inconsistent" with American values, amid expectations the exit of Washington from the board because of his treatment of Israel.


Council, which includes 47 members opened its annual Home in Geneva on Monday and eyes are upon the US the seat, which is currently occupied by a representative of the US administration of President Donald Trump for the first time.

According to media reports that Trump administration is considering withdrawing from the council before the expiration of the United States in 2019.
