F.C. Liverpool got a real boost as Dejan Lovren returned to training on Thursday even though the defender faces a race against time to be fit for a very vital Premier League clash with Arsenal F.C.

A knee injury has kept out Lovren since the 1-1 draw game Liverpool played at home against run-away League leaders Chelsea F.C. on January 31. Between that time and now, his team has lost two matches and shipped in five goals in just three games.

And very importantly right now, they will be hosting F.C. Arsenal a team in direct competition with the Reds for a Champions League qualification place on the League Table.

Lovren, who has proven to be an ideal partner for Joel Matip at centre-back as preferred by manager Jurgen Klopp this season, did not travel with the squad for a training camp in Spain, but was instead consulting a specialist in Germany last week.
