Katlynn is a 25 year old hairdresser who just got divorced from her four year marriage. She had been with her now ex husband since she was 16 and married him at the age of 21. To her greatest surprise he suddenly changed and they couldn't cope with each other any longer so they opt in for a divorce. To celebrate being free from the marriage, she rehired her wedding day photographer, wore her wedding gown which costs $1,500 and walked down to the stream where she ripped it apart and set it on fire. No one knows what she went through in that marriage, hence, no one has the right to judge her action! Secondly, the way we reason differs, so she shouldn't be judged, because that wedding dress might be a reminder of something terrible she'd experienced in the marriage and one of the ways she think she could totally forget the damn thing is to burn the reminder off. Three, that may be her own way of celebrating her freedom from the hellish marriage! However it is, it's her life, her dress, her money! |
