The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has said its was proud of Elder Statesman, Chief Obasanjo’s legacies and achievements in Nigeria. The PDP, Sunday, in a congratulatory message on the ex-president’s 80th birthday signed by Prince Dayo Adeyeye for PDP National Caretaker Committee said that Obasanjo was quintessential octogenarian and that they were proud of his legacies and achievements .

The statement read in part ‘Senator Ahmed Makarfi, CON, on behalf of all the PDP Organs and family nationwide, felicitates with the former Head of State and former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, as he joins the League of Octogenarians.
