Why do people think that his boss is entitled to use his bike because of "future rewards"? It is unethical for crying out loud. Please let's call a spade a spade. Future rewards bomb. The boss is just a selfish person. Infact, the OP's relationship with his boss is parasitic. He isn't obligated to use his personal bike for anything official or to help his boss. In a standard organisation, it wouldn't happen. Please OP take the first advice you saw here biko.

Op, I will advice u don't allow ur employer get d msg. U're even lucky he is fuelling it, some won't even do dat. If dat is d sacrifice u have a make 2 keep ur job, till u get anoda one, den so be it. Remember all these meetings are 2wards d growth & devt of d coy. It is also 2 ensure d payment of ur salary.

When u leave, dis act of kindness is what u will be remembered 4. As employees, we shudnt always be looking 4 what 2 take, but also how we can contribute 2 show some appreciatn 2 some individuals who decided 2 take d risks we cudnt.

If I were in ur shoes, I won't see it as taking advantage, but my own contributn 2 d company.

I know some places where d staff come 2 work on Saturdays, yet no overtime payment & dey work with so much gladness of heart.

May God give u d wisdom 2 make d right choice, cos I can imagine his expression or how he will feel d moment he gets d msg, u automatically enter his black book.
It is well!
Really? For how long will we continue 'taking shit' in the name of keeping our jobs, or trying to please people? Nothing and no one is indispensable in life. Self-worth and pride matters; at least for me.

Simple, stop taking the bike to work. Or take it to work, and park where it can NOT be seen. (DO NOT EVER ALLOW HIM FIND OUT)

Then tell him the bike is faulty. Do this 2 or 3 times. He will get the message.

It is cool to have him use your stuff (Could make you his favorite person), and you can easily get stuffs from him sometimes also.

It is Not cool, when he over uses you or the bike. Thats taking advantage.

Whichever way, Pls be diplomatic in your approach.

Cheers!
You're right.

This is a weird advice. Are you saying the OP does not deserve to be where he using he company that he needs to resort to "eye service" even to his own detriment? Because I'm not understanding. Is it part of his job description to "contribute" his bike to the development of the company? C'mon. That can't be right no matter how you put it. Is his job there not already a contribution? Comparing overtime with this is just off. From the story, I don't believe the OP is the company driver. There should be a boundary. This guy's boss is just insulting him.

very smart. ..I need to tap into ur knowledge if you don't mind.
Please how do you answer the how did you leave your last job answer in an interview without badmouthing your former boss .
Please what is the best reply

Hello Friend,

Pls Be Positive in your response. Whatever you say would be translated to how you'd act in your new job.

Be professional, Let them know that it’s been a learning experience, speak proudly about the rest of your work experience.

I was in that shoe. Previous Boss was hell (Insults, victimization, et-al). But the truth is: "It is all a learning phase". If he wasn't like that, certain standards would not be in place, and his staff would be lackadaisical. So that was his approach to handling issues. (Plus it's his nature, which i honestly understand). So i never spoke ill about him. I moved on.

Be matured. Plus you never know who is listening.

Cheers!
