Only 4 names for faculty of engr. were released in the merit list. Though more names wud be released soon, stalites shud note that a score of 60 and above must be attained in d post ume to gain d admission, however high ur jamb score is. Also people who applied for science based courses might find d admission quite tough, as d v.c want to favour d remedial science students this year. I don't know why the school has witheld d post ume result, but personally i think it's because d school wants to reduce "admission runs", now those who want to do "admission runs" won't have any document to work wit

@ Richez, any news/hope for medical students? I learnt from a source (though not reliable) that there are no enough facilities for them and that they (students) have been dispatched to unijos and zaria for admission. Anything from you?

who know about the list for Economics and the cut-off marks? i score 187 in my jamb

I have a friend who applied for the same course and got 219 in her UME but still bought the diploma form. So i think you should do the same.

@ Dclique, if prospective medical students didn't do well generally, why on earth should that hamper their admission? I think we must get admitted anyway. However i heard the same thing posted by Fidellema from a fairly reliable source but as to our dispatchment to unijos and ABU i can't attest. I learnt it's a directive from NUC which i consider unacceptable, it actually undermines uniabuja as a credible institution. Let every student and prospective student of uniabuja protest this move by mailing webmaster@nuc.edu.ng ] we students are obviously at the receiving end of this action.

@ i-jay i was about to post before i saw yours, thanks very much for that post. @ d-clique, your statement was very degrading. how could you say all medical students (of all people) did not do well. *watin been dey d pume questions sef*. i scored 231 in d ume myself and in the hall were i sat for the pume no medical student i checked scored below 200 and you just conclude that all of them are mugus and not even one of them could pass the pume. that is bad.

@ i-jay, though there may be truth in the story, we are not yet certain of it as to start protesting to the nuc (yet) as we did not hear it directly from the school authority. rather i would suggest that those departments .whose names were not included in the admission list should fix a date to meet in school and walk up to the school authority for some explanation before we start propesting to the nuc (if need be). *i wonder what morals they are going to teach us when they cannot disseminate simple information* all affected uniabuja prospective students should rise up to this call if their admission ever meant anything to them. we should not throw all the stress of reading and efforts that have been put in (financially and otherwise) to get to this stage to the dogs just line that.

I personally will advise those who did not get admission this year and those applying for next year's admission for their own good not to even dream of choosing uniabuja. That school is a dissapointment! I chose the school last two year, no Post-Ume result, no Admission. Now I am a lion at UNN.
I am not trying to show myself here, but to advise you from experience. Imagine a federal University in the Federal Capital.
That school is not effecient at all! they need to borrow a leaf from other universities who release Post-Ume, Cut-off mark follow by admission.
Anyway, don't loose hope yet, anything can happen!

guy, i am a medical std in d sch. I know d sch has slight problem with accredition med&surg, i have been hearing same rumours in sch, bt i think it isn't true. Though there is possibility of 400level stds moving to other schools to do their m.b.b.s, not incoming stds. Guys chill let me make some enquiries from my docs & profs, i'll b back soon.

Please help me out. This uniabuja thing has taken too long and i'm so confused.I dont know if i should put in for Jamb again or to wait for tme to release their second list.I Put in for Medicine with uniabuja as my first and second choice. I scored 248 in my Jamb but i dont know what my score is in the post UME.Is there any chance of them giving me admission.
