my natural lashes are neither long nor curly (love 'em sha).so i'm always tempted to get extra help (my mascara dey try,but e no reach).these falsies give me a fuller, darker and vampish lashline that i love and my friends envy.but whenever it's time to take them out,my real lashes go with them aaaargh .(blame-the salonist/adhesive/my oju-kokoro?) so ladies;which do you prefer? pls, share your experiences or tips for killer-eyes. |

When u wear falsies make sure you have the solvent to remove them or they will rip you natural eyelashes out. I sometimes get them done, when Im going to a party(which is not often) and I want to look extra glamourous I think ive dont it 3times this year. You can let them fall out on their own, but they will not fall out on the same time LOL You must have the remover, ask the person who did them for you what the remover looks like su you can loose the bond without losing your lashes. And Its not for short eyelahes people, my sister has long eyelashes, she gets them done too. It can be cute, and they accent my eyes prettily, i dont get them too long, I always mix medium and short to flow how lashes actually flow. Good luck, go get that remover and you will be cool. I went to Lagos and their lashes . . . . ummm no comment. . With all the glue i saw used it would rip off lashes 1 Like |

There is this new procedure out now that stretches the lashes, no need for falsies and it helped but my lashes reverted back 8wks later. Its quite pricey as well. Read more about it below. http://www.nouveaulashes.co.uk/the-alternative-to-lash-extensions/ |

Re: Eyelashes:extensions Or Real? by Nobody: 5:00pm On Dec 16, 2009 |
Iranoladun:It should be, its been out in the UK and US for over 2yrs now much better than extensions IMO especially when you put on mascara. |

Ebonyeyes: i thought that procedure adds lashes? am i mistaken? |

Hi hun, no it doesnt add lashes, it straightens and lifts the lashes so it looks longer and lifted. It looks great with Mascara on. |

i tried the falsie for my bday n loved them but am now lashless, anywyas rather than using the remover, u can always use vaseline, it loosens the glue n helps them fall off eaasily , |
Re: Eyelashes:extensions Or Real? by gianni(f): 7:35pm On Dec 22, 2009 |
@ijaey,nice one but u still went lashless even after the whole vasline thingy. .another problem i have with it is washing my face.the myth is whenever u have the lashes on,u can't use the shower@full blast,u make do with little scoops of water instead.rubbing;patting and gently wiping the face, avoiding the eye-area.o ga o! |

@ Gianni d myth is nt entirely true. I used dem lashes 4 my wedding early in d yr, after d event wished 2 take it out n started 2 use d shower regularly at full blast 2no avail, it stil stayed 4 almost a month. Had 2 pluck dem out myself n lost my naturally long lashes in process, doe dey've long grown bk. Swore never 2 fix again despite d very sweet look it gave me. |
