When shall we celebrate world men's day?

Before I proceed, I want to make it clear that I cherish and respect the dignity of women but can't be fooled by the trending hypocrisy....

Somebody asked me why I'm yet to write anything in the spirit of the "World Women's Day" and my response was simple...

The world are so hypocritical. The men are always marginalized in remembrance as well as in fundamental rights protection yet we preach gender equality. Must we always celebrate, remember and protect only the women? Why can't we also celebrate the men someday?

Only some church denominations observe fathers day but still with some atoms of partiality in terms of commitment towards that unlike that of the women.

What is the true definition of gender equality? Is it #WifeNotCook, feminism or equality of both gender in terms of rights, privileges, dignity, relevance and responsibilities? The last I checked, men bear the higher degree of responsibilities even in the homes of the so-called feminists who always believe that Adam was created with the rib of Eve. We always remember that there is something called gender equality during the good times but will suddenly believe that women are weaker vessels that need to be pampered once a difficult task surfaces and to make the whole issue ridiculous, we believe the scam known as "ladies first" when ever there is conflict of interest or comfort.

The world will only become peacefully habitable as soon as we begin to shun all manner of hypocrisy.
