I have just been invited to attend 2017 Afrika Kommt Assessment centre in Niarobi Kenya early May and i'm wondering if anyone here is going also from Nigeria so we can rub minds together? This came after a phone interview some 2 weeks ago.


It will also be appreciated if past participants or alumni of the program who can advise on how to go about preparations and what the assessment center stuff is all about?

Finally, whats the probability of retaining fellows cos it'll be scary to resign the job i have and after one year....they just leave me to roam free in this Naija of today....

the interview went well. they called and we spent like 45mins on the phone......

i guess they are processing in batches, maybe they call you soon cos i know others going to nairobi at different dates from mine.

Meanwhile since its just 3 days....im considering taking a $21 transit visa as against the $50 entry visa that has 3 months validity. I hope there wont be issues?

Anyone with kenyan visa experience or travelling with transit visas should help.

A Transit Visa is issued to persons connecting through Kenya to other destinations for a period not exceeding 72 hours.those connecting flights directly without leaving the airport dont need to apply for Transit visas

Avoid stories that touch and go for the Single Entry Visa. $31 extra won't kill bruh

You are at the mercy of the immigration officer and depending on his/her mood. Take 50$ wit you. Secondly a transit visa means that you are moving to another location not returning back where you came, otherwise good luck

Thanks bro, i'll better buy get a visa here than wait till i get there.

But i dont think your definition captures transit visa well. i think its a visa you can use for less than 72hour stay....its silent about whether you will stay at the airport or venture into the country.
