In the beginning of this year, many of you can reckon with us here that we took out time to call out Glo network on the extremely poor internet services that lingered for month almost across all locations in the country and the frustration was so unbearable that we almost broke our Glo SIM.

But thank God that we didn’t finally break and dumb our Glo SIM because it seems the acclaimed grand master of data has really woken up from their slumber for the past month.

In Portharcourt, it has become thing of great joy using the Glo 3G network service to access the internet for the past one month and counting now as Glo internet network speed has been superb and smooth.

Though we don't know what others in other locations are facing, but we want to acknowledge the fact that there have been tremendous improvement in Glo network service for the past one month

I agree with you. Here in Festac Lagos GLO speed is commendable but not optimum.

I just wonder why they won't extend their 4G services to a high value area as Festac.

Others like MTN, ETISALAT and NTEL all have 4G working in Festac cos they well know it's an area with good patronage.

Which area in Festac do you stay. What I mean is the area that 4G network can be received.

There is probably glo 4G coverage at Festac. It's just that your device most likely doesn't support LTE band 28, which glo uses. It's an uncommon lte band. get an unlocked Spectranet Huawei E5573s-606 mifi or Glo's Huawei e5377bs-508 mifi.

1. Festac is not on their list of areas covered by 4G when you dial *777#

2. I called their customer care and requested for their 4G mifi and they lady told me it will not likely work in Festac cos its not yet covered

Don't mind the customer care people. Most of them don't know anything. To be sure, get an unlocked Spectranet Huawei E5573s-606 or you can borrow one just to check. Insert a Glo 4G sim and set the APN to gloflat because that's the APN that is fully supported on Glo 4G. Once you set the APN, network might still not come up. Just restart the mifi.
Ignore the coverage list thing. Glo LTE band 28(700mhz) travels far and has amazing in-building penetration.
