I get tired and angry many a times when i see many of our professor's on the media calling many of our graduate's HALF BAKED and i keep wondering why the society and the market keep averting them from the blame. Is it possible for a graduate to be half baked without the impart of is tutor？

Universities are neither bakeries nor kitchens. They are
not even ovens, given the cool-headedness required to
teach and learn in them.
Still, employers, regulators and other important people
have started a new chorus of complaints about half-
baked lawyers, doctors, engineers, teachers and other
serious professionals.
Now that the World Bank has added its alto to the
refrain, we are going to face the music.
They say many fresh graduates do not have the
required skills, cannot think analytically or write
coherently, their English is bad and they cannot construct a simple cover letter.

Sometimes i get confused on who to really blame on this, if the student is so egghead, how was he admitted? how did he graduate? If he cannot defend is degree, who award the degree to him or who gave him out to the market? i believe awarding a degree means a student is now qualify based on his or her discipline.

I don't want my views to be one sided, who do you think is responsible. The student or the institutions?
