YOUR 20s is the perfect time for you to travel the world, build memories, form new friendships and accumulate plenty of new experiences.

The chances are that you're not yet married and possibly don't have any kids to look after which allows you the freedom to travel without having to worry about them. Even if you do have a family of your own in your 20s, Travelden still recommends that you visit as many places as possible.

Exploring different cultures, traditions and learning about different lifestyles is one of the best ways to educate yourself and change your life in ways you’ve never imagined. The 10 countries listed below will offer you something unique and make you look at aspects of life in a different way. So below we present to you a list of epic cities should visit in your 20s.

1. London, United Kingdom
Shop in the most exclusive luxury stores, taste an array of ethnic foods and explore the hipster scene

You can experience London the typical touristy way or by living like the locals. We can guarantee you that it is the best way to really enjoy the city.

Get a taste of East London’s hipster and fashion scene in Shoreditch and connect with like-minded individuals or visit the Sunday market in Brick Lane [also in Shoreditch], where you can find tasty ethnic street eats ranging from Italian, Caribbean, Indian, Chinese and African cuisine.
London’s nightlife is truly spectacular. You can find an array of high end clubs and bars in the central part of the city such as Leicester Square or head up North to Camden Town, where you can experience more mellow settings & gastro pubs and in contrast to that, very wild clubs, quirky restaurants and cool bars.

We can't forget to mention that shopping here is like no other. Some of the best places for visitors to shop and get the best deals is on Oxford Street, Westfield shopping centre in Stratford and also White City.
Fun fact: Over half of the London Underground network runs above ground.

2. Jordan, Israel
Keep yourself alive in the Dead Sea

Religious books such as the Bible, Koran and Torah have made references to the Dead Sea, as it was a place of utmost significance. One very intriguing thing about the Dead Sea is that it is said to be the lowest point on earth and is not conducive enough for marine life, due to the high concentration of salt, which also makes you float as it provides buoyancy.

The salts and minerals are very beneficial for health, general well-being and beauty purposes and a lot of skin care products include natural properties sourced from the Dead Sea. If you fancy some natural healing then head straight to the sea of good. The Dead Sea is like gold to health and beauty industry professionals.

Fun fact: The Dead Sea is the deepest hyper saline lake in the world.

3. Santorini, Greece

Relax on a volcanic island

Santorini can offer any 20-something year old the perfect escape from everyday life. Luxury, relaxation, picturesque views and serenity is what this Greek province can bring to you.

Malaysia has so many attractive locations that you are left spoilt for choice but [as a first timer] whatever you do, you must visit the Petronas Twin Towers (pictured above), an iconic landmark which paramounts to 88 storeys high and features a sky bridge that offers a spectacular view of the city.
The towers look very different in the day than they do at night. At night, the electric illumination is turned on and it emits a beautiful glow that shines through the city. You should visit twice just to see the epic views.
The towers don't just serve as an attraction, there are also plenty of things you can do in and around it like: get soaked in the waterfall, which you will find located deeper into the park, go for a happy jog and get to the sky bridge which is on the 86th floor.

Sip on authentic French wine

There is so much more to Paris than the popular attractions although you should definitely visit sites like the Eiffel Tower and the Arch de Triomphe if you haven’t been before.
Visiting this city is a fantastic way to experience the life of a Parisian, learn about the history, appreciate fine art and marvel at the beautiful architecture you will find in the streets. Marvel at historic art

Rome holds some of the most influential art globally and has strong ties to the catholic religion. One of the biggest attractions in the city are the museums which are free to visit every last Sunday of the month.
While in Rome, make sure to do as they do and stroll down the Monti Vintage market on Via Leonina during the weekend to see which chain or ring tickles your fancy. The Monti neighborhood really captures the very essence of Italian culture: busy loud streets, local restaurants, cafes, and people sitting by the fountain to have a chat or generally just people watch.
Fun fact: Florence used to be the capital city of Italy until Rome took the title in 1870.

7. Bali, Indonesia
Explore heaven on earth

When you have dreamlike views, cheap alcohol, great exchange rates from the US Dollar and British Pound, what more could you really ask for? You will find the real gems and gob-smacking scenery once you veer away from the tourist areas.
Bali is literally like heaven on earth and the magical experience is heightened when you partake in fun activities such as getting up close and personal with the exotic fishes by snorkeling, connecting with the locals and being massaged while sipping on refreshing cocktails.

8. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Live in Luxury

Want to experience the best club nights, take rides in the fanciest cars and have dinner in the tallest building in the UAE? Then Dubai is the right place for you. The emirate city went through an amazing transformation and is now one of the most attractive places on the earth, with a high percentage of it being man-made too. Dubai is a place you have to tick off your bucket list.
Fun fact: There are gold bar dispensers in Dubai.

9. Bangkok, Thailand
Experience Thai culture

Thailand is famously one of the cheapest places for food and accommodation which is probably why so many students and young people in their 20s flock there like sheep. Bangkok however, can be quite pricey but the luxury cruises and lavish hotels make it all worth it. Despite the costly experiences in this city, you can still find some really affordable things to do, food to eat and places to visit - as well as great accommodation.
