For native wear, yes, I would most definitely buy Nigerian-made. Will be better cut and tailored than Nigerian attire sewn in the West. |

Most of those suits, shirts and trousers you see in Mandilas as imported were sowed in Aba. You must be an expert to differentiate them. Don't be suprise to buy ABA made in the name of Imported. |

of course i would, why not? if the quality and style is on point, then yes. better yet if its traditional attire. one question: all those fashion designers in nigeria, aren't their products made in Nigeria? or are they made abroad and shipped back to Nigeria? i've always wondered this. |

My shirts look as good as T.M Lewin made but the materials are imported from South Africa and sewn by my tailor in Tinubu,Lagos. Recently,i was one of the groomsmen at my paddy's wedding. The guy had a Versace suit imported from Italy but i looked better in my ''Sewn in Ng'' suit. The guy was pissed that i was stealin' his day but i simply told him that his suit was N20,000 more expensive than mine. You should have seen the look on his face when i told him mine was sown in Lagos. Now he patronises my tailor more than me. I've been sewin' my shirts and pants for two years now and there ain't no goin' back. |

QUALITY is the watch word. If the clothes were well made, I would definitely buy. I see some imported clothes and I wonder who on earth imported them. Proudly Nigerian. |

What is wrong with buying made in Nigeria Cloths? Are those China made cloths of any standard better what one Lateef or another Onyeka will sew at Oshodi. To all of you oyibo made nonsense wait when I become minister of Finance. You will see these chinko cloths but will not be able to buy them because of Tax. we will not outlaw them but make them unattractive for you comfortable consumption |

Nigerian Tailors have really come of age.If you doubt me,go to the RED CARPET of most Nigerian Shows and interview the celebrities on where they got their dresses and you would be shocked to find out that more that 70% of them have theirs custom made by our own local tailors!I am one of the biggest patronizers of Bespoke Attires by our Nigerian Tailors. |
