Well for your info Palestine was the name given to that area by the Romans when they conquered it. The British chose to call the land they mandated Palestine, and the Arabs picked it up as their nation's supposed ancient name, though they couldn't even pronounce it correctly and turned it into Falastin a fictional entity." — Golda Meir quoted by Sarah Honig, Jerusalem Post, 25 November 1995 Palestine has never existed . . . as an autonomous entity. There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of one percent of the landmass. But that's too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today . . . No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough. — from "Myths of the Middle East", Joseph Farah, Arab-American editor and journalist, WorldNetDaily, 11 October 2000 How Did the Land of Israel Become "Palestine"? In the First Century CE, the Romans crushed the independent kingdom of Judea. After the failed rebellion of Bar Kokhba in the Second Century CE, the Roman Emperor Hadrian determined to wipe out the identity of Israel-Judah-Judea. Therefore, he took the name Palastina and imposed it on all the Land of Israel. At the same time, he changed the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina. The Romans killed many Jews and sold many more in slavery. Some of those who survived still alive and free left the devastated country, but there was never a complete abandonment of the Land. There was never a time when there were not Jews and Jewish communities, though the size and conditions of those communities fluctuated greatly. http://www.indaweb.com/oil/editorialopinion/tzemach.news.service01l.htm k9ine: |

Do you know that Jesus was born, lived, and died In old age(though crucified truly), Jesus was able to escape crucifixion, left his enemy, went to another town to preach the Gospel to others.Died at an old age like normal human being, he born children, had wife like normal person. When the church around my house shouts of Jesus to come and throw fire to their enemies, I shake my head for them in pity. 1 Like |

ThinkSmarter:Where was your God when Europeans were slaughtering the Jews for more than 1000 years? Where was your God when the Nazi killed 6 million Jews? Was Israel in existence then? I need you answer this questions. The Arab States aren't as broken as those years, you saw how Egypt surprised Israel in 1973 to the extent Israel thought they had been defeated not until America sent in supplies. Without the help of America, Israel is a dead meat and know that America won't always be there. 1 Like |

DirewolfofStark:1. The Palestinians were not responsible for the driving out of Jews from Palestine, so you have no right to kill, maim and displace them. 2. No doubt that there were Arabs but majority are Jews and Christians who remained. Greek was spoken in Egypt when Muslims came in and today, that's no more. Syria was part of the Roman/Byzantine Empire and today that's non-existent, so language isn't a case you can drag about. 3. The Samaritans who are descendants of Jacob through Joseph, they're majority Muslims today. #Stop supporting Israel! 3 Likes |

Demmzy15: All the historical evidence points to Israel being the aboriginal inhabitants of the land. All the ancient artifacts and historical relics speak of a Jewish past, so the modern day nation of Israel is built on the foundations of the Ancient Kingdom of Israel. The same Kingdom mentioned in the Torah and the Old Testament. Samaritans are pagan half-Jews who betrayed what true Judaism represents to become idol worshippers. Israel's foundation in 1948 marked an important milestone in Biblical Prophecy and all true Christians celebrate it. Proudly pro Israel! 1 Like |

The British chose to call the land they mandated Palestine, and the Arabs picked it up as their nation's supposed ancient name, though they couldn't even pronounce it correctly and turned it into Falastin a fictional entity." — Golda Meir quoted by Sarah Honig, Jerusalem Post, 25 November 1995 The couldn't pronounce it because there's no "p" sound in Arabic and this is replaced with "f" or "b". Just pointless! Palestine has never existed . . . as an autonomous entity. I don't understand what you mean mehn, just lame. There is no language known as Palestinian. Is there anything like Israeli language? There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There are unique Palestinian dishes, clothings, dances, etc. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc. They are different from other Arabs as this is evident from their Arabic dialects, cuisine, clothing. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of one percent of the landmass. So that justifies besieging, maiming, killing and starving of Palestinians thereby killing thousands? But that's too much for the Arabs. Who are you to decide that? They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today . . . No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough. — from "Myths of the Middle East", Joseph Farah, Arab-American editor and journalist, WorldNetDaily, 11 October 2000 How would you feel if your home was destroyed and you were sent packing by people who claim that their ancestors lived at your spot thousands of years ago? What concessions have you made? You redrew from Gaza, yet you beseige it? You bulldoze people's home and kill their children! How Did the Land of Israel Become "Palestine"? As I said earlier, the name Palestine was known thousands of years prior to this. But we're the Palestinians responsible for Romans crushing the Jews? Why suffer and kill them? The Romans killed many Jews and sold many more in slavery. Some of those who survived still alive and free left the devastated country, but there was never a complete abandonment of the Land. Some Jews and early Christians stayed behind and Palestinians are their descendants. [s]There was never a time when there were not Jews and Jewish communities, though the size and conditions of those communities fluctuated greatly. Trash!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

DirewolfofStark: What happened to the people of Canaan who lived there before? Are you aware of artifacts discovered which belongs to people who lived there thousands of years before the Jews? Samaritans are pagan half-Jews who betrayed what true Judaism represents to become idol worshippers. Call them whatever you want, are they descendants of Joseph or not? Israel's foundation in 1948 marked an important milestone in Biblical Prophecy and all true Christians celebrate it. Fooolish prophecy which displaced your fellow Palestinian Christians. Demmzy15: Its really painful for you isn't it? But whether the followers of the illiterate pedophile drinker of camel urine like it or not, Israel is here to stay. And Palestinian Christians would be in a modern progressive democracy like Israel than live as Dhimmis under Islamic law. There are thousands of Palestinians in Israel's army. So your hope that Christian Palestinian will rise against their natural allies is garbage. You can go back to your mug of warm camel urine now

Demmzy15:Many Parameters have really worked to their [Isreal]benefits , they might not be strong enough to confront their enemies. From their persecution in Egypt to the Holocaust in Germany and several others that happened in the ancient Roman, Ottoman, Assyrian and MedoPersian empire. But cuz, their help comes from God, He will always turn things around to their favour. Isrealites hv recorded the highest number of wars in history. If you do read the Bible, u will see historical documentation of the ways Isreal have been captured in war by Ancient Babylonians and Assyrians. They hv been, killed, maimed, captured and taken to slavery on several occasions, yet they hv bounced back stronger. Here they are! I think, no one can stop them except God wills. It's a promise from God to Abraham that He will make his descendants a great nation. I have once philosophized like you. I hv been an atheist to some extent. Yes, some of the things happening here on earth can cause you to doubt and question the existence of God at times. But, surely He do exist. Before now, He knew that man will get to the technological feats we hv these days. He is the one that embedded the minerals securely beneath the earth and gave man the wisdom to continue with the rest of the exploitation. But many things convinced me that God really do exist. God is Alive, Not Dead. I'm not as a result of Evolution, I'm designed by an intelligent Being, likewise you. Plants, Animals, Humans and the Universe are designed by the Supreme being. He is like a Mystery, u can't really comprehend him if u keep philosophising. He is Metaphysical. He is beyond Science. Science can't explain true Prophesies Science can't explain Vision/revelations . Science can't explain Miracle. |
