The 12th of March 2017 was indeed a memorable day for Nollywood actress Arike Akinyanju Balogun, the lead actress of "Omo Agunpopo" and Eyinju Eledumare, she was celebrated with a surprise birthday party in the United State when she was remembered by American based Nollywood actress Ranti Alore aka Ranti Alore Lamerica. She entered into the event place unaware and was surprise seeing lots of fans clapping their hands to welcome her.

Arike got married last year and delivered a baby boy 3 months after her wedding, she's currently in United State for her vacation.
Arike became popular with the role she played in Opo, Ajijagbara, Kudi Klepto, Omo Olodo, Adajo Aye, Ayemi, Ife Oju,Bibitayo,Ejika, Ayami Tooto, Iyawo Osun and Eyinju Eledumare and Omo Agunpopo.
Nollywood artists at the party includes Omo Banke, Lola Margret, Ranti Alore and others.
