As shared by a close source, Eneh Victor Chigozie, Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige has confirmed he is re-entering the race of the Anambra Central Senatorial Re-run election which he had previously bowed out from.

The current Minister, had opted out of the race to make way for Sharon Ikeazor, but the hopes of Sharon to succeed him in the race was dashed two days ago as the Federal High Court, Abuja dismissed a suit brought by her seeking to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to accept her as a substitute for Dr. Chris Ngige.

Justice Chikere held that the time for political parties to nominate candidates for elective position in respect of the 2015 elections had elapsed elasped and that meant the APC party would be left out of the election.

Ngige reportedly made the decision to ensure the APC would be included in the fourth coming election re-run.
