A final-year Urban and regional planning student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has committed suicide, Our News sources in Under-G have confirmed.

According to the sources, Soji took his life at the early hours of Saturday in his hostel room Goshen 2 along Pastor Bode area back of amazing with a rope.

He is reported to be a campus wide popular dancer.

Although it is unclear what drove him to take his life, unconfirmed reports argued it to be a sort of spiritual bad luck or girl friend breakup.

Sources say his parents have been informed about the incident which has left many of his colleagues, who have described him as intelligent and interesting to be with, saddened.

The police are carrying out investigation to find out the probable cause of his untimely death..
