Hundreds of Hausas are reportedly leaving Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yorubas, following a communal clash that left many dead and hundreds injured.

It is alleged that commercial buses have already flooded the town to pick the fleeing Northerners, as some are taking Ilesa route, while others are taking Akure route where they could get direct vehicles to the North.

The early hours clash of Thursday March 9, 2017 between the Hausas and Yorubas, was sparked by an
altercation between a Yoruba man and an Hausa man. The fight reportedly left at least five people dead.

I called this Zenophobic attack of Nigerians by Nigerians in Nigeria.



If such attack in S/Africa demand the intervention of foreign affairs. Do we demand the intervention of internal affairs Ministry?


The Hausas suffered greatly in the crisis some of them were there for more than 100 years. some of them are just Hausa by name but to be candid they are more Yoruba than Hausa. We have similar people here in the North who are more Hausa than they are either Yoruba or Igbo.



It pays to live peacefully with one another. That's how God want us.
