I don't think the plate number helped them enough, it was his phone number. And this is the details I don't want the police to always reveal to the press. Other fraudster might decide to use fake plate number or buy a sim for that operation and destroy it afterwards.

You sef, you intend to exchange that huge amount of money, and you carry it out in Jeep. If i were you, I will have gone into any bank and open a domiciliary account and ask the man to pay the dollar in, this type of transaction can't be done in a hurry. It should be done through the banking system to safeguard against these type of fraudulent activities.
