In some schools the format is

2.3 Conceptual Framework

2.4 Empirical Review


While others interchange 2.2 and 2.3, it all boils down to your school's format.

2.1 Is generally an intro into what the supervisor expects to see in your chapter 2.

2.2. Theoretical framework deliberates on theories that are related tot the subject matter being discussed.

2.3 Conceptual Framework, this concerns different concepts that make up your dependent and independent variables and their interrelationships.

2.4. Empirical Review: this is a compilation of previous studies from different author local and (or) international that relates to the study being undertaken.

My problem is I want to start a PhD but honestly I haven't got an interest yet on what to do. Before any application for Phd one needs a proposal. I have a B.tech in Mathematics and Computer Science and and M.tech in Applied Mathematics with specialisation in Fluid mechanics. Want to do something else a but different or mixed

Good morning, to start a proposal, you need to know the format or direction your proposal will toe. If you are applying to a foreign school, you need to get the school's proposal format as a guide. This is applicable to schools in Nigeria too.

In my opinion, the choice of course your are planning to Major in for your Ph.D depends extensively on the ease of being relevant in (Nigeria or Abroad) when you are through. Remuneration is also a concern for me.

As for your proposal, when you get the format, I can help in that regard with a little fee.
