As the 2017 WASSCE theory papers began, secondary schools which trooped to collect the customised WAEC calculators at the Igbogbo, Ikorodu office, (Lagos) had been forced to pay the sum of N1,550 to buy WAEC syllabus that covered a period up 2016 before they could collect calculators for the candidates. An eye witness wondered why the examination body must do that. There were silent grublings as it was further revealed that before registration for the candidates commenced, schools had ealier paid for the syllabus in the fee of N5500 paid to the examination body.
