iamDiabolic: Hey frustrated IPOO miscreant from Wasteland, see the message your Fulani master, Alhaji Aliyu Gwarzo, has for you: "...We also captured Ilorin, killed their local King and installed our Fulani Emir. We took that ancient town away from the barbarian Yoruba and their filthy pagan gods. We liberated all these places and all these people by imposing Islam on them by force. It was either the Koran or the sword, and most of them chose the Koran..." You lots are even worst off than pad. At least pad is very much useful in the lives of the female folks. One thing is certain with the Igbo Nation: Igbos are not like the Yorubas and some other docile tribes in Nigeria who are too myopic to follow criminals and their rougish candidates sheepishly and blindly. Igbos are not political saboteurs. At the outset of PMB administration Igbo leaders were the first to visit Aso Rock to congratulate him and pledge their support for him. Immediately Yorubas and their cohorts were infuriated and were all over the media ranting and abusing Igbo leaders for making such visits. The bitterness was vivid and yet Igbo leaders did not insult or attack the presidency. It's on record and verifiable that Igbos have not stood against the progress of the presidency. In aftermath of the 2011 victory of GEJ at the polls Yoruba National Youth Corp Members where butchered by PMB kinsmen without much noise from the Yorubas. Yorubas did not deem it to rant carelessly and make noise everywhere. In the build up to the 2015 general elections many Yorubas and their numerous media outfits abused GEJ and the office of the presidency with reckless abandon. Yorubas called GEJ unprintable names - clueless, shoeless, drunkard, fisherman, dumb, Boko-Haram sponsor even when it's an open secret that BH was an evil invention by Northerners to destabilise and islamise the country; coupled with treasonable threats like forming a parallel govt, make the country ungovernable, 'soaked in the blood of dog and the baboon' threat. https://www.nairaland.com/601158/nasarawa-protesters-hurl-stones-jonathans Yorubas and their elites spearheaded the campaigns of calumny and insults that earned GEJ the most insulted president ever in history. Indeed, virtually every Yoruba person is blinded by hypocrisy and delusion. Just last Saturday, July 10, 2016, a Yoruba woman was dismembered by Northern islamists for preaching in Abuja but these loud-mouthed bigots have maintained a rather deafening silence. To the hypocritical Yorubas, the Hausa-Fulanis are peaceful and accommodative and thus have no problem; they can kidnap, kill, maim, destroy and ravage Yoruba and as much as they like. And the loudmouthed, 'sophisticated' tribalists are yet to consider them as threat to national security. Yorubas are more concerned about the Igbo people seeking self-determination peacefully than a group of islamic fanatics butchering and slaughtering people under the guise of religion even without provocation. Yorubas should leave Igbos out of their frustrations and channel their negative energies towards consolidating OduaArewanistan republic. 17 Likes 4 Shares |

9icest: Silly propaganda from frustrated never-do-wells and wicked, treasury looters to divert attention from the very obvious! Here is a list of some of your greedy kinsmen who looted and ruined the fortune of this country. And this is your idea of 'One Nigeria' where you persistently rob Peter to perennially pay parasitic Paul, and still continue to spill innocent blood to maintain the status quo in the polity. Can you spot Igbos on the list? simtosul: The question here really is the role these men and women played in the current state of Nigeria. The List of Top 20 Most Corrupt Nigerian Leaders (dead/alive) below: 1. Oluesgun Obasanjo – He stole $25 billion from 1999-2007 ($16.4 from power sector alone) 2. Nasir El Rufai – Before he was made the FCT Minister, El Rufai was broke, homeless and was looking for loan to import taxis from the UK. After he was made the minister, he seized landed properties that belonged to Nigerians and resold them with huge profit. It’s estimated that he stole $1 billion from 2003-2007. 11. Tunde Fashola – He is the poster boy of Tinubu. Boht of them looted Lagos dried and left it in debt of about N1 billion. Fashola, among other thing built his personal website for N78 million, drilled borehole for over N100 million per each and built a kilometre road for N1 billion. He stole $900 million from 2007-2015. He’ll soon be a minister to continue the looting. 12. Chubike Rotimi Amaechi – From 2007 to 2015, he stole $700 million and $150 million from that money was used to sponsor Buhari and APC. 13. [s] YorubaFynest:[/s] Here's a message from a Nigerdeltan: WombRaiders: Yoruba wants one Nijeriya because they are afraid of having us in the better south (ND and SE) Leave them alone with ab0ki. It is not just a matter of financial exigency but a matter of survival. For all the hatred they show towards the Ibos, the Yoruba needs the Ibo to thwart any jihad from the north. So to my Ibo brothers and sisters, what I can conclude from this yoruba madness and obsession towards Biafr@ movement is actually shrouded in deep fear of being left alone with their northern masters. Adeboye will be converted to Islam. Tunde Bakare will return back to Islam. The Yoruba is actually throwing tantrums over Biafr@ because they need YOU IBOS to remain to protect them just as they need us in the ND to keep feeding them. YorubaFynest: Yaribanza chest-pounder, here lies the answer you seek as provided by sensible Yorubas. If you've any query or grievance and when you're done doing Owambe parties, Alayeism, Agberoism, Omonileism, Owomidaism and other anti-social vices Yoruba youths are known for do well to give them a call. "For Lagos State, more than 70% of the manufacturing concerns and major industries in the State are owned by the Igbos. If the Igbos were to stop paying tax in Lagos State, the IGR of Lagos State will reduce by over 60%. In contrast, Sir, go to the South East and look at the manufacturing concerns in Onitsha, Aba and Nnewi. Please don't forget those were areas ravaged by civil war a mere forty something years ago. The Igbos have certainly made tremendous progress but the Yoruba nation has regressed. Okagbue and Allison Ayida deconstructed in Lagos, all that was agreed in Aburi. On arrival in Lagos, Prince Akenzua discussed with Gowon and raised objections to what was agreed in Aburi. Gowon asked him to raise a memo which he did. I am sure a copy of the memo is with Gowon today while a copy is in the archives in the Presidency. Civil servants are to be seen and not to be heard and that is why Akenzua never released a copy of the memo to the world. The memo dated January 8, 1967 began with: “Your Excellency, in view of my discussion with you last night, I am raising this memo in the interest our fatherland, Nigeria”. Akenzua traced the long hard road that Nigeria had travelled and stressed on the need to keep a United Nigeria. He (Akenzua) said in the memo that Gowon had given too much away in Aburi and that it would lead to the destruction of the country. He further added that Gowon had “legalised” total regionalism which “will make the centre very weak.” Akenzua alluded in his memo that a weak centre would lead to confederation and total disintegration of the country. It was the memo that prompted Gowon to summon a meeting of the secretaries to the military governments and other officials which was held in Benin City between February 16 and 18, 1967. If you look at the minutes of the Benin meeting presided over by Mr. H. A. Ejueyitchie, Secretary to the Federal Military Government, you will discover that it was a total rejection of what was agreed upon in Aburi. The Benin meeting interpreted in its own way the agreement reached in Aburi. The decisions at Aburi amounted to, in terms of political and military control of Nigeria, that the country should be governed as a confederation. N.B: The Omo N’oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa (CFR), the 38th Oba of Benin, who was born on June 22, 1923 and ascended the throne on March 23, 1979. The Oba of Benin is the traditional ruler of the Edo people and head of the historic Eweka dynasty of the Benin Empire. Before becoming an Oba, as Prince Samuel Aiseokhuoba Igbinoghodua Akenzua, he was an outstanding civil servant. He, in fact, rose to become the Federal Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health before he retired in 1973. Along with others, he attended the Aburi meeting held at the Peduase Lodge where the conflict of Nigeria was discussed between January 4 and January 5, 1967. Aburi is a town in Ghana and a 45-minute drive from Accra, the capital of Ghana. Those who attended the meeting were Lt. Col. Yakubu Gowon, Col. Robert Adebayo, Lt. Col. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Lt. Col. David Ejoor, Lt. Col. David Hassan Katsina, Commodore J.E.A. Wey, Major Mobolaji Johnson, Alhaji Kam Selem and Mr. J. Omo-Bare. Others were Prince S.I.A. Akenzua (Permanent Under-Secretary, Federal Cabinet Office.), Mr. P.T. Odumosu (Secretary to the Military Government, West.), Mr. N.U. Akpan (Secretary to the Military Government, East.), Mr. D.P. Lawani (Under-Secretary, Military Governor’s Office, Mid-West) and Alhaji Ali Akilu (Secretary to the Military Government, North.) The Chairman of the Ghana National Liberation Council, Lt. Gen. J.A. Ankrah, declared the meeting open in his capacity as then the head of state of Ghana. https://www.nairaland.com/2854914/why-fought-side-ojukwu-biafra-fola-oyewole Retired Lt. Fola Oyewole, 77, a Nigerian Military Officer of the Yoruba stock, fought on the side of Biafra during the ncivil war. Before then, he was, because of the first coup 50 years ago, imprisoned in Lagos and in the Enugu but was released by Lt Col Ojukwu. He wrote his own war account too, entitled “The Reluctant Rebel”, which joined other civil war narratives like ‘The Biafra Story’ (1969) by Frederick Forsyth, ‘Why We Struck’ (1981) by Adewale Ademoyega, ‘Sunset In Biafra’ (1975) by Elechi Amadi, ‘The Nigerian Revolution And the Biafran War’ (1980) by Alexander Madiebo among others. In this interview with Ademola Adegbamigbe and Femi Anjorin (Idowu Ogunleye snapped the photos), the retired army officer narrated what happened during the first coup, his participation in it and why he, despite being Yoruba, fought on the side of Biafra like other non Igbo officers like Lt Col. Victor Banjo, Major Wale Ademoyega and others. Q: In what area did you take part in that coup? A: Arrest, seize facility and others… Q: You were at a point, according to your book, with Captain Adeleke, another Yoruba soldier, who was he? A: He was a colleague. He is the one who said he wanted to consult the family and we were friends, we both worked in Apapa before the crisis. Q: I want you to describe what happened to other Yoruba people or non Igbo who fought on the Biafran side – Lt Col. Victor Banjo, Major Wale Ademoyega, then Major Kaduna Nzeogwu an Igbo from Opanam in Delta? A: They were detained like myself, and Nzeogwu was detained, that was a common factor. Q: In the book, you applaud Ojukwu’s performance in Aburi, explain to us what actually happened because there is this argument that he bamboozled Gowon A: If you listen to the Aburi accord or the proceedings as a whole, you will duff your cap for Ojukwu whether he is a villain or whatever you want to call him, call him. He really dictated the pace of the discussion, he was prepared for it, he kind of put together all the things and if you listen, the moment he started talking, others kept quiet and when he finished, they will say ok ok ok. To give you a full grasp of what the theme was, you need to read the comment of the super perm sec (Akenzua) who led us to (the mess) where we are today. Q: Was it Philip Asiodu? A: The group – Asiodu, and the rest. Their recommendations, what they brought back from Aburi was agreed to be implemented but when they came here they tore it into pieces. Q: Ok, was after the agreement was signed in Aburi? They came back to Nigeria…. A: To put it in whatsoever you can say political implementation. They desired to analyse it, it was an agreement not suggestion, that’s where our problem sort of started. If you listen to the Aburi accord or the proceedings as a whole, you will duff your cap for Ojukwu whether he is a villain or whatever you want to call him, call him. He really dictated the pace of the discussion, he was prepared for it, he kind of put together all the things and if you listen, the moment he started talking, others kept quiet and when he finished, they will say ok ok ok. Olabestonic001: There's nothing like painment or channelling any hatred to Yorubas as regards 2015 general election. For IGBOS DON'T HATE ANYBODY SAVE YOU'RE A SWORN ENEMY OF JUSTICE, FAIRNESS AND EQUITY. As soon as PMB was sworn in as president Igbo leaders were the first to visit Aso Rock to congratulate and pledge their support for him. Immediately Yorubas and their cotravellers were all over the media ranting and abusing Igbo leaders for making such visits. IGBOS DON'T NEED YORUBAS AND THEIR COTRAVELLERS IN ANY CAPACITY TO SURVIVE OR EXCEL. Igbos are not interested in the presidency to realise a separate existence from Yorubas and their cotravellers. And very importantly, Yorubas cannot determine for Igbos how to go about self-determination, not even when many Yorubas are still wallowing in illiteracy, abject poverty and squalor. Yorubas should stop propagating lies and falsehood and demonising others just to ensure the continual free flow of crude oil wealth from another's backyard, lopsidedness, marginalisation, nepotism, treasury-lootings, Quota System and bloodletting in the land, and still shout the loudest, screaming 'One Nigeria' and at the same time grandstanding carelessly and senselessly that Nigeria's unity is not negotiable. Should I remind you the sort of wickedness and evils Yorubas have committed against the Igbo Nation including willful destruction of Igbo business premises? Yorubas should mind their business and leave Igbos alone. It's rather pathetic that many Yorubas are not concerned about the ethnic cleansing going on in their backyard and the hate messages being preached in the mosques coupled with the unconscionable, cold-hearted waste of human lives and reckless destruction of means of livelihoods in the North, Middle-belt and South. Yorubas are not so bothered about the marauding herdsmen who maim and kill but would hypocritically and callously tag IPOB members who pose no threat to citizens as miscreants and criminals worth hanging in the gallows. Yorubas should stop whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK. Let today, July 16, 2016, mark a turning point in your lives to stop disturbing Igbos with your senseless and endless whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK as if your whole essence in life is being taken away from you. Advise your Yoruba folks to channel their energies towards having a separate existence from Igbos. Many Igbos are ever willing to contribute their quotas to the speedy realisation of that quest. Igbos won't miss Yorubas at all. Convey the message to every Yoruba person to steer clear of Igbo's quest for nationhood. Let's see if NL will from today begin to experience some relative peace from the incessant whinings against Igbo's quest for a separate existence. For self-determination is an inalienable right of ANY people. Freedom seekers seek freedom until it's achieved. They don't allow others define them to suit their interest and narratives, or permit the oppressors and abusers of human rights to teach them, the oppressed what human rights are.

7lives: Well, I don't really blame many Yorubas who lay claims to Lagos as their origin when reasonable people rarely claim that they are from Oshogbo, Ilesha, Saki, Kisi, Ibarapa. Igbos travel to Lagos to take advantage of Yoruba visionlessness, docility and gross ineptitude. About a century ago the Europeans competed amongst themselves in trooping to Africa. Igbos, Chinese, Lebanese, Indians, Americans and Italians troop to Lagos to create opportunities and conquer the land. However, if you feel your lazy self is accommodating any Igbo man in any of your enclaves then venture into the streets and put your rants into test. As for Lagos - it's not your father's property. Lagos was developed and still being developed with the crude oil wealth from the East, and the sweats and bloods of tribes in Nigeria. If you are still in doubt enter the streets of Lagos and prove your worth. Stop whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK as if your means of livelihood is being deprived you. If Yorubas believe in their capabilities and capacities as a tribe then make today, July 16, 2016, a turning point in your lives to stop disturbing Igbos with your senseless and endless whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK as if your whole essence in life is being taken away from you. Olabestonic001: Be sincere and objective, at least for once... It's no gainsaying over the decades Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis have proven to have voted along tribal lines. Not so with the Igbos. For the Hausa-Fulanis, in 1979 Igbos voted for Shehu Shagari against Zik. And in 2007, Igbos voted Yaradua. For the Yorubas, in 1993 Igbos voted for MKO Abiola against Tofa/Sylvester Ugoh. In 1999 and 2003 voted Obasanjo despite the unfair manner Alex Ekwueme was edged out of the race and who was actually better off. For the Ogbia/Ijaw, Igbos voted GEJ in 2007 against other Igbo candidate. Igbos built ties, formed alliances and voted for Northerners and Yorubas to enable them get the presidency even at the expense of Igbo candidates. That's an indisputable fact! Yorubas had the presidency for over 11years with Obj ruling in the democratic dispensation from 1999 to 2007 (8 years without breakage). When Ojukwu contested in 2003, how many Yorubas and their Northern masters voted for him? How many votes did the Northern Muslims give GEJ in 2011 or 2015? Who has complained about that? It's pathetic you lots go about with the propaganda that Igbos are tribal in voting and hate others simply because Igbos didn't not join Yorubas to vote for 'CHANGE' in 2015. Yet Igbos have been far from political power for some 50 years counting. If the Igbos hate Fulanis then Igbos wouldn't have voted in Shagari in 1983 or Yaradua in 2007. Yorubas shouldn't expect Igbos and Easterners to deludedly Kowtow to their whims and caprices and follow sheepishly in voting in whatever candidate they present. |
