I saw a list of the top 49 oldest people alive today, and surprisingly, I realized that there are only 2 are men on the list. That was enough to confirm the hypothesis that women live longer than men. You might think it's just a coincidence, but scientific studies suggest otherwise.

Science tells us that women live longer than men for a whole lot of reasons, but the most important one is that women don't even do half of the ridiculously dumb things that men do. You'd see some men doing crazy things and you'd be forced to ask "what were you thinking?"

It goes a lot deeper than forgetting to look both ways before crossing the street. The thing is, in men, the frontal lobes i.e the part of the brain that deals with decision making and risk assessment, develop slower than women's. That explains why women generally don't participate in anything that will obviously put their life in danger. Men, on the other hand, can make the worst decisions when it comes to their safety.
