OK, my nephew went too far with an issue.
she gave her gadget to a Repairer who kept on promising her today-tomorow thingy
she got frustrated on her last visit n challenged him n took an item off his shop
and said she would only return it wen he fixes her gadget or return d money.

the Repairer reported to the police of theft and my nephew was arrested on her next visit to the repairers place.
the thing now is, we have returned d item she took, police wanna extort from us.
bail is free both they are hoping to make weekend cash. they want 15k.
we insisted on free bail n since yesterday they have kept her behind bars on the assertion
that DPO has to be around for her bail to be free/processed.

isint it unlawful to reprimand someone for over 24hrs? just because we refused to bribe them. what can one do pls?

They is no practical way. Sometimes being rude and vile pays off, other times being friendly pays off. The best way to deal with them is to completely avoid them

Let her fake epileptic or asmathic attack while you try to film it letting them know you are recording all their faces in the video and you'll put it up on the net that they refuse you guys free bail to take your neice to the hospital in an hour's time DPO will be around she'll be out

Two wrongs dont make a right.
Your sister acted wrongly by taking whatever she could from the Repairer's shop.

I will advise you quickly do all you can financially to bail your sister.
Try and negotiate the bail price with them.

If not, when your sister is being taken to Court she will surely be remanded in prison custody pending when she can meet her bail conditions, which will not be less than N50,000 and two people in like sum.

Why act like you are not a Nigerian?
Who told you bail is free in Nigeria?
Act fast before your sister is being taken to court.

Whether she is guilty or not, she will be remanded in custody pending when she is able to meet her bail conditions or prove herself innocent.

Your sister took laws into her hand.. simple.
