ABAKALIKI —Former Secretary to Ebonyi State Government, Prof Ozo Nweke Ozo has died at his country home, Izhia Ezzamgbo in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State at the age of 74 years.
In a chat with newsmen, who thronged the residence of the former SSG Friday morning, the first son of the deceased, Dr Chidi Ozo, disclosed that his father died after a long battle with cancer.
The late Prof. Ozor was the Secretary to the Ebonyi State Government in 2004 during the administration of Dr Sam Egwu (now senator).
Details of burial arrangements would be announced later, according to family sources.
