thinkdip:bro, i'm an electrical engineer, if you said difference, how is ur difference equals 8, when the first equation is 2and3=7, using logic and reasoning, ur difference of 8 isn't visible. please give me better explanation |

For each example, it seems to me to be the square of the first number minus 2. That is... N² - 2 In which case the answer would be 98 as in 10² - 2. |

visiondee: You are wrong. It's 98.your answer would have been correct if it were 11*10.check the sequence the first digits are odd numbers while the second are even but the one in question changes. The fina answer is 98 |

The answer is 98. The formular is: multiply across, the number in the first column with that in the second column. subtract one from the second column number and add the result to the previous answer from the initial multiplication. Thus the final answer on the forth column. |

LordofWar: VERY VERY WRONG steps BUT CORRECT answer. it's 3 × 3 = 9 ( 9 - 2 ) = 7 5 × 5 = 25 - 2 = 23 and so on. 10 × 10 = 100 - 2 = 98. |

Proudlyngwa:I am not wrong, the question is a logical question so it has no mathematical prove. All you have to do is understand the logic and unbox it, note that I only dealth with the answers for each line because the subject only carries 2,2,2,1 as it sequence therefore it has no effect to the solution, meaning that the question can only be answered by logic. check my solution and prove me wrong |

3x2=7 (1) 5x4=23 (3) 7x6=47 (5) 9x8=79 (7) 9x10=101 (11) The progression is in prime numbers which are only divisible by themselves |
Re: Can You Answer This In Ten Seconds? by Nobody: 1:14am On Mar 29, 2017 |
What you fail to notice is that the next 2 numbers in the sequence are supposed to be 11 and 10 but we have 10 and 9 so any calculation from the given sequence won't work it's just trickish |
Re: Can You Answer This In Ten Seconds? by agunwaanthony(m): 2:58am On Mar 29, 2017 |
The answer is 101. It was derived by adding prime numbers 1,3,5,7,11 respectively to each product.

Re: Can You Answer This In Ten Seconds? by FYTnRUN: 8:36am On Mar 29, 2017 |
The answer is either 99 or 101.. Because the added number to the multiplication follows as arithmetic progression by odd numbers or prime numbers.. |
Re: Can You Answer This In Ten Seconds? by KEMELU: 8:49am On Mar 29, 2017 |
Answer is 99 with proof 3×2=6+1=7 5×4=20+3=23 7×6=42+5=47 9×8=72+7=79 10×9=90+9=99 |
Re: Can You Answer This In Ten Seconds? by iamsoja(m): 9:40am On Mar 29, 2017 |
The formula is (a x b) + (b - 1) (3 x 2) + (2 - 1) = 6 + 1 = 7 (5 x 4) + (4 - 1) = 20 + 3 = 23 (7 x 6) + (6 - 1) = 42 + 5 = 47 (9 x 8 ) + (8 - 1) = 72 + 7 = 79 (10 x 9) + (9 - 1) = 90 + 8 = 98 |

99 or 98
3*2+1(first odd numba)=7
5*4+3(second odd numba) =23
7*6+5(third odd numba) =47
9*8+7(third odd numba)=79
10*9+9(fourth odd numba)=99
or by
10*9+8(numba b4?) =98 |
