Colour barrier?. . .You should be referring to the NBA. The NFL has always been segregated, imagine they just got a black coach in the super bowl in '07. The NBA did that 30 years ago with Lenny Wilkens at Seattle Supersonics.

The first black NFL coach was in 1921  , thats a hell'a more 30 years, before the league even changed its name,
