Six Things To Watch Out For This Weekend As Premier League Action Returns by Footballmade: 9:18pm On Mar 31, 2017
After the international break, the Premier League returns in what is very much the business end of the season. Into the final quarter of the season, there remains plenty to decide at either end of the season.

And for a host of sides, this weekend could prove crucial, whether looking down or looking up.The weekend's action kicks off with a Merseyside derby at Anfield, and culminates with Sunday's meeting between Arsenal and Manchester City.

Here, are six things to look out for as the top flight makes its return:

1. Can Lukaku make a big-game difference?
Everton are outsiders for a top six finish under Ronald Koeman this season, but that remains precisely what the Dutchman is aiming for.

If the Toffees are to lay claim to a European spot, then key will be Romelu Lukaku, the Premier League’s 21-goal top scorer. The Belgian’s future remains up in the air, with Lukaku unwilling to extend his current deal, despite Everton’s offer of £150,000-a-week. He wants to play in the Champions League and against Europe’s very best. But the question remains: is he a top-level centre-forward?

Last summer the ex-Anderlecht star was linked with a host of Europe’s big names, but those links came to nothing. This term, he has taken his game up a notch and his Everton record is mightily impressive, with 83 goals in 157 games.

2. Will Sakho stand firm against Chelsea's attack?
Crystal Palace have hauled themselves out of the Premier League drop zone with three successive victories, keeping clean sheets in each game.

To those who have been watching the Eagles, it's little surprise that those results have coincided with Mamadou Sakho's arrival in the starting lineup.

Up to speed after being out of favour at Liverpool, the French international has been outstanding in the Eagles backline, a clear upgrade on any other centre-half at the club.
