Midfielders Stephen Hunt and Marcio Geovanni are players United will need to look out for; they are Hull City's top scorers.
A win will keep the Tigers farther away from relegation zone, so they will fight to exploit United's currently depleted defense.

United's usual strikers are available, and with Rafael, Fabio and Ritchie de Laet available, Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick should return to the middle. Ryan Giggs is expected back from injury as well.
Edwin van der Saar is still injured with no return date yet, so Tomasz Kuszczak will continue in goal.

even if berbatov & rooney are going to play at the back, make it a string of 4 so there'll always be a covering player for another. against fulham the defence was all at sea. . . . the back 3 couldn't spread out and stop the fulham wingers/wingbacks; the midfielders in front of the defence were not dropping back to cover the flanks. . . . . it was such an uncomfy formation, i don't think the players quite understood it themselves!
