60 thousand naira for one hectare? isnt it supposed to be for lease? i was just recently leased 10 hectares for 50 thousand naira in Kano. i mean 50 thousand naira for the whole 10 hectares.

60,000 per hectare per year? Na cocaine you wan plant for the land ni? OP do not pay more than 10,000 naira per hectare anywhere in Nigeria. 10k is the standard rate all over, some even 5k or even 3k in some places in Benue. Here in Abuja, I usually lease at 10k per hectare per year!

I don't kn if u can come to Nasarawa state but land are cheap to rent here like one hectare it won't be more than 2500 to 3500 per year and u will really enjoy it if u can do irrigation planting to and get a fulani ma to secure it for u I bet u no cattle will disturb ur crops
