Wife at 15? And expected to be sexually active? Even in this modern age some girls at her age aren't fully developed for sex, saddened that illiteracy led to her being castrated, an act which reduces sexual pleasure for both genders, and worse still makes the vaginal labia either desensitized, inflamed or in her case damage her urethra..

We all need to do more to protect the girl child, from early marriages to prostitution,we all need to put our foot down.

this matter just weak me, bad intension lead to evil act, the baber man just see an opportunity to survey the little girl private part, what does the hair in the head has to do with the one in her private part, Okey i see no wonder some vertinary doctor do also recommend drugs to patients and when the thing accidentally work the village People begin to call him Docky, and from there he will open the first village hospital.

FGM is more common in your "educated" south than in the north. In her case, it was the last resort of her ignorant family but from what i understand you lot down there just castrate most of your women because you believe it curbs sexual desires.



The National Baseline Survey of Positive and Harmful Traditional Practices Affecting Women and Girls in Nigeria {Egunjobi: 2000}reports that the highest rates of FGM were found in Osun State {98.7per cent}, Oyo State {96.8 per cent) and Ondo State {91.6 per cent}. Edo followed with (74 per cent). In the South-East, the highest rate was found in Imo State (95.4 per cent), Abia and Anambra have rates of (82.4 per cent and 75.5 per cent). Significant rates were also recorded in the South-South, Cross River (93 per cent), Delta State (91.4 per cent), Akwa Ibom State (65 per cent), and Rivers (58.3 per cent). In Kano State, the rate is 55.5 per cent, in Kaduna State, it is 36.5 per cent and in Jigawa, it is (32 per cent).


If you want to start making changes look inwards at yourself before pointing fingers at others.

Unfortunately, Yorubas hate the Igbos so much that they're ever ready to vote against their own interests to stop the Igbos from rising to power.

A typical Yoruba man would rather vote for a corrupt northerner than his fellow Yoruba man. How the north (mostly illiterates) continue to use the Yorubas (mostly educated) to hold unto power is indeed heartbreaking.

Until the Yorubas wake up from their long slumber, the north who have ruined the country, will continue destroying it with the help of Yorubas.
