1. Time domain filtering (synchronised averaging, notch and comb filters)
2. Frequency domain filters (Butterworth low and high pass, wiener filter, correlation and spectral density, template matching and matched filtering)
3. QRS detection using Pan-Tompkins algorithm, analysis of EMG activities (RMS, mean power frequency)
4. Spectral analysis (segmentation, parametric characterisation and Welch procedures)
5. Classification and pattern recognition (k-means cluttering, linear discriminant, receiver operating characteristic, ROC curves)
6. Independent component analysis (removal of artefacts, wavelets, fastICA algorithm
