The first post on the thread concerns how much i have received so far.

From the post u can see that the amount raised so far is "Awesome", i got to be positive at all times n hope for the best no matter what.
You guys are the best and i believe u can still do better than this. Therefore i'm making a fresh plea again to nairalanders and any1 reading this right now to please HELP by donating any amount u can in order for me to meet the target amount of N3m required to carry out the procedure on me in India. I salute your courage. I don't have funds but I can share my experience and advice to u. I've had leg ulcers since 2007. It started in my first year in the university. I have also had to quit 2 jobs to take care of it. I couldn't go through the thread completely but I read the basics.
I don't know about the graft in India but I advice u do your research on it properly. I have had 2grafts also. The longest lasted 3months.
One thing that has really helped me is compression stockings and compression dressing. There is a disposable compression bandage I use for dressing when the wound is large. When it becomes smaller, I can manage to wear the compression stockings and it really helps.
I have also learnt that the major thing is to keep the wound clean and as sterile as possible. I don't leave my wound open ever. I also manage a diet with high protein and vitamin c. I take antibiotics monthly and do a swab every 3months to know the antibiotics that is non resistance. I live in Ibadan but my main doctor is in Ilorin.
I'll take​ time to read your thread and also discourse with my doctor on the graft u talked about.
I'm sure nairaland would be sufficient to raise help for u in whatever action u decide to take.
