Jummaima:

May her soul rest in Peace- Amin.

It's not good to speak evil of the Dead u know,
It's like u r judging, and no human is in a position to judge any other human.

Who told you so?

I would have assumed you were born na-ked. Or did you come into this world clutching a book with a set of rules?

I came na-ked o, so those your rules don't apply to me. To Hell with any evil person that has caused millions misery.

Okay! she died, its not for me to judge for all i know and am sure you'r all in the dark too she might be somewhere in the warm embrace of God. repentance is redemption you know! Anyways i hope she did repent before she died but secretly i wish i'd be the one to judge.

LWKMD

Yeah right!

A means to siphon money whilst deceiving the gullible and desperate illiterate women.

The best she could have done for them is to ensure the government did its job effectively and without avarice and malfeasance, not some stuuupid programme.

I am hoping against hope that just by pure luck her children, nieces, nephews etc that are still enjoying our money are reading this. So that when next they are spending that loot that has led to hundreds of thousands dying of basic, easily treatable disease and has led to millions finding life a daily struggle they would remember the hatred it has brought them. That is the least we can do if the authorities can not, or will not, get them to a court stand and retrieve public funds. Lets diminish how they enjoy it by scorn, not praise-singing and empathy.

It is because of bas.stards like this I am in the freaking cold, foreign country eating mash potato and peas. Instead of going to the should-have-been-prestigious OAU and then being an Exec Director in IB in the should-have-been-world leading Investment Banking arm of UBA, coming home to pepper soup every night.  grin

I think the moderator has a key role to play in checking what people post on site in the name of freedom. A lot of people who never had courage to speak on such issues in the past now feel they have the freedom to express themselves online. People like Sagamite should be cautioned on what they paste on the site. He should learn to clutch on his brain before pressing the accelerator of his brain.
I dont care what she has done wrong or right, afterall she did not rule this country, her husband did. We are talking about the loss of a live and people should respect that.
I will not be interested in reading stuffs from Sagamite, he has a rather warped way of writing. Moderator please kindly remove him from the threads.

NL is a forum to express ur feelings or thought freely, and not a forum to  wish ur fellow human being death. It will be better to behave mature. A word is enough,

Why should Sagamite be curbed? Why, cus u disagree with his opinion? He's upset that he's in a foreign land suffering when he could be back in his home country in familiar society. Plus, its called freedom of speech. Let him rant all he wants.

@ kizi, was only slipping sagamite a piece of advice and i think he got the message. @ gentle soul, i didn't wish nobody death, i would be stupid of me because it a prayer already answered for all mortal, i dont need to wish it. One day time will be up for all of us and that includes you the only prayer is that i doesn't come in a very very long time.
Re: Maryam Babangida Is Dead! by paradigman(m): 6:57pm On Dec 27, 2009
@ Sagamite,
What we are saying is that we should be matured in our expressions. You are in the freaking cold country, understood and some of us here are also not happy with the situation of things, but we look on the buttered side of our bread. It is not all about what i could have been afterall you could also have been RIP like her. But as the family grief, we grief with them. the time for truth will come and genuine reconciliation will follow.
Maryam Babangida RIP

And the advice I am giving you is that not everybody deserves respect in death, some people deserve scorn especially when they have not paid for their crime.

Idi Amin deserved scorn.

Foday Sankoh deserved scorn

Saddam and his sons deserved scorn. NO RESPECT

Even Abdulmutallab deserves scorn if he dies of his injuries. Let all evil people know that the world don't intend to tolerate them for an inch, hopeful it will limit evil.
