He clearly benefitted from having Shaq around and taking a lot of double teams, but he got it done, and you can't take it away from him. The road is littered with guys who gagged in those situations.
Kobe, on the other hand, quitted in the second half to just get out of the first round. And its not like he's playing with a bunch of slugs either. Odom draws his share share of defensive attention
