Is a Woman equalled to a man in marriage. Going by the Bible

1Pe 3:1 Likewise you wives, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,

1Pe 3:7 Likewise you husbands, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

Truly truly, a man should be able to help his wife out in basic choice, washing the plate, sweeping the house, washing clothes etc.

A man who can't afford to buy things to ease the choice done in the house and refuses to buy it is a wicked fellow.

Going by the Scripture,
1Jo 5:7 For there are three who bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

These Bible verse is letting Us know that there are High ranking in any agreement either in Marriage or whatsoever

Bringing it down to marriage, there is also High ranking in any marriage. God who Instituted the marriage, the Husband then the wife.

So in my Opinion, I feel each party involved should know their stand.

Marriage is a Union in which both parties helped themselves but not the woman claiming equality.

There is a difference between a Ruler and a Leader. Because a man help in dish washing, Sweeping the house, taking the Children to School. Same as the lady, does not make the wife equals the Husband

The concept of equality with the man in marriage is a concept from the pit of hell to discredit marriage as an institution from God. The Head can never be equal with the body. They are created to compliment/complement not to compete. A man should assist his wife in all regard but that should not connotes equality.
