Once in awhile, I reflect on how most people tend to behave in relationships. The younger they are,the more games they seem to play. They lie, cheat, and seem very confused about what areal relationship is.
While I understand the ego boost of playing games and (successfully) lying to one's partner, I believe most people sell themselves short by leading a life of deceit.

Let me explain.
They don't realize the leverage of being honest with themselves and their relationship partner or spouse.
An individual who is upfront and honest about what he/she wants will get more from his/her life than the person who constantly lies.

Take the man who's having an affair. It's a huge waste of a man's time to be dating or married to a woman he doesn't like AND spreading himself thin with a second woman.
Women are also not left out in this. In fact, it's a big shame for any woman to be a player.

Some people are just not fit to be married or in a relationship, and it's absolutely OK.
They're better off waiting for the right time to be with someone they can really commit to, rather than jumping into a serious relationship and then playing games.

Playing games in a relationship is a gigantic waste of time both for a man and a woman. I know a guy who is engaged to a beautiful lady and still tries to cheat with other women. He spends an incredible amount of time hanging out, chasing and chatting up the local talent. He lies all the time, and lives in a constant state of stress and guilt.

All this, with little result in comparison to the time and mental bandwidth invested.
Time and mental bandwidth that he could have used to design his future marriage with his fiancée.
Imagine if he had done the work necessary to end an engagement or relationship that doesn't fulfill him. WIN!
Imagine if he had done the work necessary to build the relationship on a correct foundation that he doesn't feel the need to compromise for whatever reason. WIN!
Imagine if he had done the work necessary to make his relationship evolve to a new level of honesty and openness in which he enlists the help of experienced marriage counselors to tackle his problem with 'Mr Flesh'. WIN!

All of these actions represent three different outcomes, but they have one common trait: no game is played. You can design a relationship that fulfills you, but work is involved.
There's a lot to lose in playing games and very little to gain in comparison to radical honesty.

Have an amazing day!
