Jokerman: I don't know if its truly marked for demolition but the first time I saw it I knw its wrong. The Mosque was built inside the petrol station compound, close to pumps. |

weedtheweeds: You are obviously deeply ignorant. All the hogwash and ranting above really deserve no response because it is no use engaging you. Misquoting the Islamic HolyBook out of context to mislead others or drive home your mischief is an old tricks from your progenitors that has gone out of fashion. Your sweeping allegations also shows the depths of your knowledge about the herdsmen and Islam. SMS for you 3 Likes 1 Share |

sarrki:You are absolutely correct. Only ignorant people think there is much difference between the Quaran and the Holy Bible.... Men have twisted both holy books to satisfy their greed and deceive people. If all muslims read the Bible and all Christians read the Quran i am sure they will be shocked to know that the differences are not much. Infact, Christians and Muslims are like cousins but hatred, bigotry got and the media has gotten all of us blind. |

Jokerman:Near ke, ABI inside the filling station. And that is how it is in most places, then I wonder if the government actually gives approval for such suicidal act. Just knowing there r no approvals for such. I am sure the place of worship where build to serve customers. Now that their is a need to demolish the stations, what customers will they be serving? Obviously there are legal mosques built everywhere, they should go to such places so they pray acceptable prayer rather than making unnecessary trouble. |

GloriaNinja: You are a fool.A big one self. The noise you complain of is only for 5 minutes while the noise in the church last for hours. All the noise in the mosque combined together for a week is not up to what you do in a single day at your various churches...HYPOCRITE 1 Like 1 Share |

Any foolish human being like yourself who read this post without verifying the verses first will think you are saying the truth. And its people like you that claim to be intelligent but a single verse you can't translate. Read them again don't just go to some sites and copy rubbish. Not a fan of Fayose but this one is a no-brainer. Who builds a mosque or church in or around a petrol station? It's simply not safe. Some Nigerians though....government does something to safeguard you from possible danger and you're complaining. Like those idiots that complained in Lagos after Fashola demolished houses under power lines. What would have happened if one of the cables fell? Gone to glory? Even God would not have mercy on the person that was stupid enough to build a house under a power line or a place of worship in a petrol station. |

Shafiiimran99: You realize that more people congregate at places of worship than in fast foods or shops. Also, people spend less time in fast food outlets or shops as compared with churches or mosques. This move is to reduce the time it would take to evacuate people from the environment in case an emergency like a fire outbreak occurs. |

Danmaiduguri:and you forget to quote these verses. 1."But when the forbidden months are past, thenfight and slay the Paganswherever ye find them, andseize them, beleaguer them, andlie in wait for themin every stratagem (of war); butif they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful," (quran9:5). 2.Fight those who believe not in Allahnor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued," (quran 9:29). |

If there is no political undertone or religious discrimination. How many minutes muslims spend in the mosque for their prayers talking about radioactive emissions. What about all houses built besides network servers with heavy radioactive. I beg allow them to continue using dat place for their worship 1 Like 1 Share |

Shafiiimran99:They should also be brought down, in as much as the filling station is a threat to life. Just the other day there was a news here of a wild fire in one of the filling stations there, if it were not for the rapid response that it got, it could have gutted the houses closeby. Imagine filling stations built very close to a primary school or market, what do u think happens in the case of a fire incident. The state government is just doing its primary function; to protect life and properties. Me I have not seen y dis should cause a stir. If all they are concerned about is a small mosque that can always be rebuild somewhere close and legal, what then should the owner of the fillings station to be demolished do? Protest to Saudi Arabia? Let's be guided abeg. Besides we all saw in the post that the approval given was for a filling station, a place of worship was not included. |

Olabenjamen22: Quoting out of context. "This is a declaration of immunity by Allah and his apostle towards those idolators with whom you have made agreement" Quran 9:1 the idolators broke the agreement and killed muslims pilgrims. And why didn't you Quote this verse. "And if one of the idolators seek protection from you, grant him protection till he hears the word of Allah, then escort him to a place of safety this is because they are people who do not know" Quran 9:6 "Grant him protection and escort them to place of safety" imagine there if their is a battle between two countries and one country wins against the other and they capture Prisoners of war, the best thing they can give these POW is jail. But Allah instructed the muslims to grant protection to the idolators and take them to a place of safety. The idolators chase the prophet out from his birth place, followers killed, tortured, enslaved, robbed raped. they have no choice but to leave the city and go to madina. wat can me worst than this. And for your info even when mecca was conquered prophet muhammad PBUH prohibited the killing of idolators, not even a single jew, christian or pagan blood was spilt. Allah is most kind and mercifull 1 Like |
