Am quite concerned about this issue
Growing up, i have had a sister who complained of pains in her lower abdomen...
I remember doing blood transfusion for her after the operation, i remember the prayers we had to pray as a family, thank God she is married and doing well now

But then, i have also seen or had friends who are girls subject themselves to this crucial pain, i remember vividly a lady i met during NYSC, we were quite close tho she had a fiance but she will always confide in me and tell me several things about her including this fibroid of a thing on how she had about three operations just to get it out and yet she was still experiencing it. I remember praying for her and actually been scared if her womb wasnt damaged and if she could ever give birth.... thank God shes married and blessed with a baby boy now

Yet again.... am still encountering ladies, very pretty ladies who look very healthy who are suffering from this pain, you will never know until you get really really close to them till they are able to confide in you

Obviously am a novice on this subject matter,
but how then can it be prevented?
why does it affect only females?
